WA - WA - WANDERLUST
Traveling to other countries every summer isn't enough. They say when you're 18 years old, you got almost 57 summers left. Like what?! I haven't been to New York, Dubai, Paris, Amsterdam, Istanbul, Santorini. Bora Bora.
Guess where I'm going next summer :)
stay tuned xoxo,

The Fault In Our Stars
This book is probably similar to my favorite book The Perks Of Being a Wallflower. Both books are elegiac and hence, made me cry. However, The Fault In Our Stars is about dying, specifically a person suffering from cancer. Reading this book, made me think and imagine the struggle of Hazel (w/ cancer) in her poignant life.. It made me realize that I'm so lucky to be a healthy person. This book is also about true love. It made me more hopeless romantic and I can't fathom if there's still a guy like Augustus in this world. A guy who's willing to sacrifice and accept the fact that they can't be together forever and a guy who's gonna love you for who you are. Like Augustus, I also fear oblivion. If you don't know what it means, then search it. Above are some words or quotes that I found inspirational. So if you have time, you should definitely read this book! :)

- My college life is like a roller coaster ride. I won't tell you why :)
- I am turning 17 soon and yet I still look young for my age.haha :)
- Sadly, I don't have time to read another novel because I'm too busy with my studies.

The Born This Way Ball
Lady Gaga's avid fans
I've been a fan of Lady Gaga ever since I've heard her song 'Poker Face'. Sadly, I didn't attend her 1st concert here in the Philippines. So when I heard of The Born This Way Tour, I immediately told my dad to buy us tickets. I didn't regret buying expensive tickets for this concert because what I'm really paying for isn't ticket, it's an opportunity to witness and experience an incredibly amazing concert of our mother monster. Having seen her performing alive is definitely priceless. If she will be able to read this post, I want to tell her that she really inspires me and let me know that I'm beautiful in my way no matter what.. I love you, Lady Gaga!♥
Despite of the people protesting to stop her concert, she still sang the song 'Judas'. That song is blasphemous. Nevertheless, she said that it's just a metaphor. She's a strong woman who never gets affected by her infuriating haters. I adore her for that.
Lady Gaga was a bit emotional during her concert. Seeing her cry made me and my twin sister cry too. I was surely touched by the things she said last night. So for those of you who didn't attend, here are some things that she said:
“Tonight is not about making a statement. Tonight is about all of us coming together because we believe we were all born this way.”
“Manila are you having fun? If you’re not. I don’t give a f*ck”
“Tonight is all about togetherness. In our differences, we are all the same.”
“My lifestyle is like one whole performance of liberation, for those of you who aren’t free. Take this opportunity to free yourself.”
“It's the fcking goddamn truth that people in the world need to be free and be proud of who they are.”
“You guys taught me to never give up on myself.”
“The difference between rebels and non-conformists is that Non-conformists don’t take action & they pissed off when things don’t go their way"
“I’m not an alien, I’m not a woman, I’m not a man, and I’m not a creature of your government, Manila. I’m all your dreams and I’m all your potential. Let me be all your insecurities and your fears. I’m your future, I’m everything that makes you sad and angry. I’m you, little monsters. Tonight’s not a statement, tonight’s us coming together because we believe we were all born this way. Some people say I stand for things that are bad. The truth is, I want the best for every single one of you. My life is like one whole performance of LIBERATION.”
“All of those kids all around the world who take their lives when they’re so young because they feel bullied, or they’re afraid because they’re gay and don’t want to tell anybody. Don’t you think that some of us should f*cking stand up for them and speak the godd*mn truth? It’s true! It’s not about the music, it’s not aobut my clothes, it’s not about having hit records. It’s the f*cking godd*mn truth that people in the world need to be free and be proud of who they are.”
At the end of the night, Lady Gaga said “It’s all about the truth.”
“Its the fcking goddamn truth that people in the world need to be free and be proud of who they are.”
Back off, haters! You just misunderstood and misinterpreted her. Before judging her, look at yourselves first.
For all of the Little Monsters out there,
Paws Up for our Mother Monster!

Candy Style Award ♥
Teenagers like me, like music, hot guys, party, friends, shopping, and especially FASHION. Everyone of us dresses differently. Some of us dresses funky or girly, and some of us dresses according to their mood. In my own perspective, fashion is self-expression. You dress to both impress others and express yourself. Attending the first ever Candy Style Award has been a memorable one. I've seen a lot of fashionistas like me. I also learned fashion tips from the top fashion bloggers in the Philippines. One thing that I've noticed is that almost all of the candy girls were wearing heels. Well, wearing heels never go out of style. Moving on, I can't wait for Candy Fair 2012. See you all there! :)
Here's the highlight of the event:
1. Incidentally, I wore an impromptu attire because I really thought that our mom won't let us attend this fabulous event.
2. Upon our arrival at Rockwell, I was really mesmerized by the people in this mall. I saw some celebrities and bloggers.
3. Handsome Candy Cuties. They were all good-looking, sweet, and approachable.
4. Addicted to Cocktail Drinks. It was my first time to drink one and eventually, I liked its taste.

A Place Called Paradise
Have you ever been in a place called paradise? Do you believe that there is a paradise existing in our world? Now you have to believe what I'm gonna share to you. There's this place in Cebu (specifically, Plantation Bay Resort) that I can proudly say it's a place called paradise. So before you agree with me, let me show you some of the spectacular photos of this place.
Believe me now?
I spent quality time with my family in a place where you can definitely relax. Perhaps our main intention in going to a place like this is just to recharge our batteries since my dad is too exhausted from his job.
my twin sister and I enjoyed biking with this awesome bike
a gorgeous view from our room.
How's your summer so far?
xoxo, Angela ♥
